Just tried to fire my ION and it will shoot maybe once every 2 or so minutes. I take it apart thinking that the bat. is dead and then take off my reg just to find out that its missing the piston, spring, and spring platform.

My question is this: Is there anywhere i can find those things missing? Or do I need to just invest in getting a new reg ( i had it planned later on but now that mine is worthless i gotta make up my mind)

Took the reg off one day and they fell out.

you have to have been missing a screw or 2

all the screws are there.. just no piston or spring.

How the hell does that happen. To get to the spring and piston you need to basically take the whole reg apart.

Unless you bought this used, you got screwed. Better off buying a new reg.
