Me! All my hot friends who are girls say that about themselves. They're pretty much the envy of most girls. I was thinking at first that they're just saying that for attention, but it got to the point where I could tell that they truly thought that of themselves.

So I was supposed to hang out with this girl that I mentioned in the last thread this Saturday. Today I got her number, but when I got it, she says, "Oh by the way I might not be able to hang out with you Saturday because my friend is having a concert, and I told him I would go." Now, I know that she is pretty much blowing me off, but I'm still pretty sure she likes me.

I think I have my own solution to this, but I need people to critique it for me. Tomorrow I'll go to her and say, "Hey, you are blowing me off for Saturday right?" you know, kind-of confronting her about it. She will most likely get embarrassed and say "No." When she says that, I'll jump all over it and say, "Well, then why don't we go out?" I'm pretty sure she will say she promised him, but then I will say she told me she was available.

So, I need some people to critique that, and tell me how I should end it. Thanks.

Don't confront her right away, if someone did that to me I'd wouldn't want to be around them. Why not just wait till after and ask her if she would like to do something on a later date, you won't look so desperate and hostile. If she declines then, then you have a problem.

Well I need a bit of nice guy advice here. A good female HB friend of mine is having a bit of a relationship problem. She's really emotionally wacked, and doesn't want to be with her boyfriend anymore. She's bored with the relationship and isn't happy with it/getting feelings for guys she dated like two years ago. She really wanted this guy and was emotionally distraught about it, and now she's finally had him for three months she's had her fill.

I just told her to not rush to anything, and if it's what she really wants break it off. Just not to make any decisions she'll regret. Anything else?

So you're going to make her feel guilty?? She's putting her friends before some guy, it's normal.

However if she was really interested in you she'd put you first, however there are some things that come first. Just tell her that you're going to be really busy for the next while and see how she reacts.

I wasn't going to make her feel guilty. It would have been more "playful" than hostile.

Edit: I can understand her putting her friend first. I don't really know her that well and she has known this kid for most of her life. I'll wait over the weekend then call her and ask (or tell) her that we are going somewhere, or if she wants to go somewhere.
