Board problem?

I have a System X NME le(i believe) That has a solenoid that will not click or anything, So i ordered the WAS solenoid, before i soldered the wiresI wanted to just test that the solenoid worked so i just wrapped the connections in electrical tape and when i would hit the switch, the board would just turn off. When ever i was to unplug the solenoid the board would seem to fire just fine, but whenever the WAS noid was plugged in it would shut off. is this a Board problem or a Noid problem?

you need a brand new battery cuz the new was noid will drain ur battery since it requires all this stuff and try that if that doesn't work send ur board back or sumthin and tell them to flash it cuz it wont work

Make sure that the leads are the same and that the noid is using the same voltage. You might have to reset the board also (user do-able)
