quick help

i just bought an ion a little while ago and equipped it with a new designz QEV. when i initially installed the qev it seemed to be snug. now that i tore the gun down and put it back together, when the valve is tight to the body it is not square with the rest of the gun. in order for everythign to fit together the valve has to be slightly loose (easily moves left to right). i have not aired the gun up yet and will not be able to do so until tomorrow to see if it leaks or not. is this normal?? any suggestions??

Thanks

Teflon and make sure the QEV is actually threading into the breech not just screwing in at an awkward angle.
