Lube All Over ???

Today, i had received the shocker i bought. I bought it broken. When i had took apart the gun, i had noticed there was lube all over, lube was on the manifold, body, the frame, the trigger. Is that normal ?

It's normal for a gun that is regularly lubed but not regularly cleaned. Make sure you wipe old lube off the bolt before relubing it. Go inside everything with a q-tip and clean it out good...

its not on the outside of the frame, like on the INSIDE of the frame. the lube is on the trigger part where its inside the frame =] you get it ?

No, there shouldn't be lube all over the frame and around the trigger area. There should be a light coat on the bolt assembly, reg and in the solenoid. Which if the previous owner used that much lube you might want to clean.

This wasn't difficult to type, I suppose it was for everyone else in this thread.

the lube in the frame might have been vented out by the solenoid, i cant say im sure because i dont know exactly where/if the solenoid vents to the outside but if so then thats prolly where the lube came from
