Try reading what we wrote again bro!

You have a crossfire. Crossfire regs have a good enough recharge rate that they don't have shootdown

you said lp works better because the shocker is lp....we (everyone else) agree that lp works, but HP works in all cases....

so, the conclusion that can be drawn is this....

Low pressure tanks with sufficient recharge rates will function fine on a shocker sft, although a high pressure output tank will eliminate the tank becoming the source of shootdown in any situation.

Q: What tank output pressure can I use?
A: I personally suggest buying an HP tank. The only markers that require LP tanks are specific types of Angels. HP tanks will work on just about every other gun out there.
When an LP tank is used, there is a danger of the tank not keeping up with the high rates of fire that the Shocker is capable of. Only the highest-flowing LP tanks will work without problems. This includes Guerilla Air systems, Crossfire systems, and scarce others.

Use HP if your using a tank other than macdev, crossfire, or guerrilla air. If you get a tank from those companies, you has use LP w/o any shootdown b/c their regs are kickass. Someone close this thread..

From my little guide in my sig ...

Shockers can be run on both HP or LP tanks. If you would prefer to use a LP tank, Crossfires are recommended due to their fast recharge rate. Some people have said to stay away from HP tanks, but I (as well an MANY others on this board) have seen otherwise - THEY ARE FINE TO USE.

One thing to make sure is that before your air your marker up for the first time, back the HPR down so you dont overpressurize the system and blow the gauge and/or solenoid. Also, for the times after that, slowly turn the tank on so that the air doesnt "shock" the reg.

If it makes you feel better this is basically what Rodney Squires of Dynasty would say .. but he would throw in that if you have an adjustable tank set it to about 650 psi output
