Back w/ AKA..

Ok. I started to post this already and deleted it because I didnt want to jinx the deal. I sent out the money today and the gun is being sent to DC tomorrow for a tune up. After that, its coming to its new home.

Now, Ive owned AKA viking in the past, and never had a chance to shoot an excal. This last weekend I got to play w/ one for a while, and fell in love w/ it. I was shooting my buddies PBX gold excal and decided that what guns I had were immediately going up for sale. I found the perfect one.......

Steelrats old 04 Streamline Stormtrooper Excal. And for those that dont know what it is.... Heres a pic from the owner. Im going to take more pics when I get it of course, but I am just so excited about owning it that I had to share.

Its also coming w/ a bunch of goodies, and as soon as I get it (well not immediately anyway) Im going to load the rmod code into the board.

Looking forward to next week.

Now all you need to add to your aka collection is an excal. I love vikings too, but after shooting an excal.....*melted*.... Its not as fast though, but still fast enough.

thanks everyone.

Just so you know a bit about the history, the first owner was a student at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. I bought it from him, then sold it to the person you bought it from. I have a great video of me shooting it, I just have to find it somewhere. Does a nice job of shutting up those who say excals are too slow.

Im excited enough already. No need to rub it in. . Thanks for the history. Has it always been storm trooper and streamlined milling as far as you know?

Its at DC right now and getting tuned. Looking forward to the next week or so.

Always been a streamline, but not storm trooper. The originall anno was the white, but with light grey accents on the eye covers, bp-no rider feedneck, and longbow barrel. I know the longbow was sold, but the eye covers and feedneck should still be there unless he sold those too. They were so light colored that the who gun essentially looked white.

You'll love it. It was a great marker, and always got respect wherever I went.

sweet. Thanks for the info. I believe he does have the eye covers...(well not sure), but the dataports, etc he still had and is including them. I saw pics of the longbow on it here in the excal pic thread. I still think it looks great w/ black accents anyway.

Im ready to take some new pics.

About the ST theme.. you'll change your mind when you switch the black accents to the original white/silver.

I have been eyeing this streamline excal for ages, it would've been mine if I hadn't already picked up an Excal! I still think it's the nicest and cleanest looking excal by far... or maybe 2nd to my unmilled.

Nice catch, she's a keeper!

cheers

haha. I think its the nicest looking excal ever myself. I had to have it. Notice I told him Id buy it on akaO w/in a matter if time the same day he put it up. Probably the fastest selling excal ever. lol.

You are already changing my mind about the white/gray accents. If they are inlcuded, I will definitely change them out. That looks super sharp.

Is that picture the same one i bought? whered you get the pic?

edit: oh and I dont plan on selling it. EVER. I baby my guns anyway, but I can assure you this one will get the attention and respect it deserves. It is definitely coming to a good home.

^^tell me about it.

Ive owned:

karta emag
03 viking (tadaod)
DM4
PM6
Angel
Karnivor (Im selling to pay for this gun)
DMC w/ UL frame (Keeping for now)

And I must say......I personally like how the excal shoots over ALL the guns ive owned. Each one has their own qualities that make them good, but I love the way excals shoot. And I like how Matrixes shoot too.

Never liked the way some other newer guns shoot. Ego, timmy, angel,.....meh not me. Karni shoots nice.

IMO Excal > all. at least the guns i own anyway. And the rareness factor is cool.
