i didnt know that u couldent talk to the players and i got *****ed at by the refs cuz apparenbtly it's ok to scream stuff at psp but not nppl? why does it matter like issin;'t that the point of watching and fun to like help ur fav players and stuff i dono i thought it wa spretty gay

ya ur not allowed to shout out other players positions at nppl events, i wasnt there but even the annoucers for the live web cam had to wisper so they didnt give away positions

The rule had always been that you cant yell to players, its supposed to be the player playing the game, not the spectators playing it for him. The PSP decided to make it legal to get the crowd involved/ they were probably too lazy to stop it from happening.

why would it be cool to basically cheat and tell the players where the opponents are...part of the skill of the game is team communication and beign able to recoginize and call out locations. Having some kids in the stands yelling things is lame. Cheer, do whatever. But calling out locations or warning players about things to me is just dumb.Plus there are def. plants in the crowd to call out bad locations..so what makes you think that they would listen to you anyways?

Thats the thing, for every person trying to help you and yell out actual locations, theres another person yelling BS. I have a feeling the players close out everyone except their coach's voice which are usually fairly distinct.
