Well since there is no thread on doing it already i will give u a step by step instructions on it.

Materials needed:
Stock Trigger(or whatever trigger you plan on milling)
Dremmel
Grinding wheel
Medium and Fine Grit sand paper(cant remember exactly what i used)
some polishing compound
crescent wrench or vise(anything to hold the trigger while milling b/c it gets HOT)
sharpie(not required)

Step 1: take your trigger and with the sharpie mark of the area you want to mill. this makes it easier to know when to stop.
Step 2: put trigger in holding device. if you use a vise be sure to put shop rags or some thing to keep from leaving marks on your trigger.
Step 3: use the dremel to mill away the area you have chosen.
Step 4: use the medium grit sandpaper to smoothe out the rough marks left by the grinding wheel.
Step 5: Use the fine grit sand paper to get the trigger to be the same as the rest of the trigger
Step 6: (Optional) Use the polishing compound to polish the trigger. in most cases the polish wont last through much play but it looks good when you first do it.
Step 7: Reinstall trigger and enjoy your homemade blade trigger.

i was thinking about doing that mod but the tape part just seems really ghetto, but i might do it just to see what it feels like.

yea i just milled until i reached the mark i made.

UPDATE: I am completely finished with milling the trigger. i tried to get it to look lke the slik trigger. it is now extremely light(i dont have a way to weigh it but compared to my newdesignz RIP trigger it feels lighter. Pics will be up soon.

P.S. i also have the trigger pin soaking in a teflon soltion to try and get rid of the friction.

and here is the pin soaking in teflon solution. i do not have the pin in the frame. that is the earbud mod holding the trigger in.


EDIT: the more i look at it the more i think it looks like a cp roller instead of the slik but either way it feels really good. i will try to get a vid of me dry firing with low air.

oh belive me alot of it is gone. there was alot of aluminum dust on the work bench when i was done. lol. it is unbeleivably light but it is still not bouncing.

make sure and take your time. i didnt at first and when i looked at the trgger it was wavy and extremely uneven. good luck

UPDATE:

ok i made a vid: http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e4...VI_5415AVI.flv in the video i have 0 ramping, 0 recharge rate, low air, and low battery. This is with my super lightweight trigger and teflon coated trigger pin(really smoothe feels just like the earbud mod but doesnt use taped to hold it in)

that seems to be much smoother, but personally i think the original one looked much more cleaner, but heavyer. nice job... btw, we got stickyed

yeah im not completely finished sleaning it up but it feels much better.
