What I am talking about is "perm ban's". I know the mods are over worked and underpaid so time is not something they all have to add additional duties, but it could be set up as one persons job to review "perm ban" parole requests. Say after 1 year of recieving a perm ban, you could go before the review board.

Example would be myself. Lets say 1 year ago my account (kodiak61) was perm banned for corporate spam, but since then I have been active with my new account and have been "reabilitated" per say, could I be eligible for "parole". I have not been banned since then, nor warned. I have been helpful to the comunity and feel that my forced medication from the guards has been helping.

I think that it is something to think about, but thats because I have something gain from it

Anyways, just food for thought.

Personally I think that any appeals that are denied in the Talk to Mods/Admins forum should automically result in the ban length being doubled. Users who have been temp banned might think twice about trying to pull the wool over our eyes when they've been caught dead-to-rights.

TargetIndy - I aggree. Since they also tried to get around the system by making a new name.

Also with the bail idea I also aggree with it since before you get a temp or perm ban for something you are warned by users and mods. After 3 users yell at you for something like posting a BST thread in the wrong section, you stop doing it unless you decide not to lissin.

But when a mod tells you, you gen. don't do it again. If you do you should either wait it out or pay to play. You clearly did something wrong to get a ban.

I don't think that anyone would be willing to send $25.00 for a temp ban..I would spend at most $10.00 but thats me, not some desperate 13 yr old.

Then they can wait it out. If they "oh so need to get to their account to complete a deal", they will spend the $25.

It's an option, not a fee.

Exactly. The only reason you'd pay the bail if it were for an emergency (deals, trades, etc.). Or you could pay it to help out the nation...

Even if they get banned they are going to make a new account and still talk on the nation untill there time runs out, So, Why give them a bail choice?

Everybody is treated equally here on the nation, but people do not see that. They are like WHOA, thats racism and they didn't get banned. Then they freak out on Mods because of they got banned for spamming. There are over 3,000 people on the nation and over a zillion threads and posts, Its very hard for Mods/Admins to cover this.
its like getting a driving ticket they dont ban ur licence because of speeding unless u do it a bunch of times, u can bail urself out by paying the ticket same could be done here.

Actually, If your on a Permit then make you have a month with no driving,6 months violation free then you can get your intermidiate license. If you go faster than 25 over then they can take away your license on the spot until your 18.

If you have your driving license and your going 25 over the speedlimit they can suspend you and/or take it away for good.

If they do this then you can't bail yourself out.

All the example relates to is Perm. bans.

Temp. bans would be like getting minor infractions on your record. In which you pay a fine in order for you to drive again.
