Excal serial num : 228
Style: Purple acid wash, double trigger, low rise.
Date recieved : 08/01 ?
Approx num of shots: 5 cases?
Rof: 10.5 (stock)
Settings: stock
Lpr pressure: stock
Feed tube : Low rise
Pinches per hopper: 1? Sometimes none, sometimes a few. Lately none though.
Chops: 0
Breaks: 3?
Loader: 12V revvy pre BE
Air system: 20oz CO2 hooked up to female stabilzer
Consistency: +/-2
Efficiency: Never ran out of air yet. At least 1500 per fill with plenty to spare.
Prefered barrel: No preference. Lapco, JJ ceramic, CP 12", stock Javelin, they all work equally well to me.
Any problems: Slight leak at bolt ram. Had to jiggle bolt around to get the leak to stop. Leak seems to be disappearing after some break in period. Haven't noticed it lately.
Comments: What more can you ask for?

serial num: 410
style: black ano milled
recieved: 11/01
shot count: 6 cases
rof: stock
LPR pressure: stock
settings: stock
feed tube: low rise
pinches per hopper: >1 average over six cases of paint
chops: depends on paint, marbs-none, rec-sport-several, yet
try hellfire or allstar.
breaks: none if paint/barrel match is right, had some one day
but it was because the paint bore size was
really inconsistant (diablo) and I had a few breaks
down the barrel
loader: 12V revy
air system: 68 4500 maxflow
consistency: best +- 3, worse +- 15
efficiency: average 1700 per fill and I rarely get a full 4500 fill
more like 3800-4000
preferred barrel with paint: rec/walkon would have to be a 14in
dye aluminum one piece barrel with
most RP paints, you can only hear
the bolt move back and forth,
abo****ely one of the quietest
markers.
tourney would have to be either
freak with diablo or the above
mentioned barrel with marbs.
any problems: noticed some scratches on my bolt. I wish this
marker was totally enclosed like a shocker or
angel, worried about dirt, sand scratching the
bolt tube. Would like to see a feed tube
that is designed for the warp feed.
I love this marker and have high expectations for it. After I get this thing broken in I want to adjust it so that it will not chop brittle paint. I loved my shocker because I could shoot anything thru it and not worry about chopping paint. I actually went over a year without having to buy a squegee. From what I hear I should be able to have the same preformance with the excaliber.

When I see breaks, I think of barrel breaks. I use a freak, so i had perfect paint match. It was some TC Paint. IT was extremely brittle. I dont know what it was called. I dont know why it was chopping, i think it was b/c i had a bad battery in there. I dont know.

Higest Possible Excalibur ROF
Hey,
It seems the Excalibur can only achieve 13bps. Is this because it's closed bolt? plmk cuz i'm interested in getting one and shooting 15 or 16bps.

Because of some rule that I cant quote directly, all markers are supposed to be capped at 13bps. AKA strictly adhears to this rule, and therefore as I understand it, you cant raise it above 13 bps.

About 4 years ago some of the leading manufactures got together and made 13bps the limit. Thing is not all the manufactures were willing to do this and some were not even in exsistance when this agreement was made and they don't feel that it is in there best intrest not to limit themselves to this restriction. That is why you have guns that go faster. Like Hyper8 said AKA is sticking to that rule.

actually if i remember right it was about 3 years ago. about the time the "lcd" & turbo talk started. companies such as WDP, WGP, Air Gun Designs ect. got together with the major leagues & such to discuss the rate of fire for the new makers & if the goggle lenses could with stand the impact of 12+ hits in a second. after all was said & done they came up with 13bps. supposedly they were not going to aloow they new markers to fire over that rate.
wpd worked around this on the lcd's, hence open semi mode, yet the highest any of the other 20 some modes will fire is 13. hmmm.
then agd comes out with the E-mag. if i recall, the electric mode is capped at 13, but there's no way in @@#$ that the hybrid mode is capped. plus that agreement would impact the "rt's" , but no worry there, if you could get it to feed that fast power to ya.
wpg didn't have to worry about the fire rate(for obvious reasons).
not sure on smart parts.
but AKA held to it, all of thier makers are capped at 13.
now maybe there's been a change in lense strenth but i've yet to here or read anything about it.
