NO! screw it in until its flush with the underside of the body, thats it, you dont want it putting pressureo n the valve and un-seating it
dude, sounds like the imp is too advanced for u to handle, a lot of your problems seem like user error

it is flush with the underside of the damn body.. what the hell... i just asked to see what could be done instead of buying a new body and you have to be a dick... it is not leaking from there.. i dont see you answering on how to fix the leaking solenoid.. maintaining an imp isn't rocket science.. yesterday was just a bad day where all the locktite on my imp gave way.. jesus..

all i was exclamating is that you never just crank on the valve screw until its tight, especially on a delrin valve, ul just destroy it
as for the noid, just take it apart, put it back together and make sure the manifold seal is seated correctly

I haven't had mine out in a while, so i'm going by memory. The screw that you are asking about is fairly course thread and difficult to strip without really cranking on it. Are you sure that the valve body isn't upside-down and your going into the exhaust port? Or maybe the valve body isn't in the correct position and it is missing it completely? The valve body has a blind hole, does it continue to go deeper or just keeps turning?

The valve body has a blind hole (only goes in a short way 1/8-1/4") and an open hole (goes through into the valve). The open hole goes up towards the top of the marker and the blind hole goes down to the locating screw. Are you sure it is in correctly?

first of all what valve do you have?? stock goes all the way threw where an evil or ndz has the "blind hole" we'll call it, either way the set screw should stop flush with the body, if you screw in any farther on a stock valve youll actually screw into the valve pin, hope this helps
