I was looking into buying a shocker off nation and its an 05 but the guy says he has a humphrey upper board and solenoid and i was wondering could you just buy a completely new board and still use the noid? please dont flame

yup you sure can, hence the reason no after market boards come with noids

there is 2 boards in a shocker.. 1. the board. 2. the upper board.

that is the upper board/solenoid.
if your asking if you can upgrade the board as in get like a virtue or pred or something then yeah you can use any board with any solenoid.
