Skid Price
Im doing a school project, and I was wondering how much you owners pay for a skid of paint, what brand it is, what company gives you the hookup, and how many skids you order in a year...

Sorry to say it man but caspabala is right. No one is going to tell you their prices. Not only will they differ almost compleately from shop to shop, but it would get them in trouble with thier distributers as well. You could try calling PMI or National and see if they give you some info to use, but as for a store giving it to you I wouldnt hold my breath.

Well my store gets all Draxxus and Empire paint for $8 a case. Hope that helps.  |

Expect a quantity of 90-138 cases per skid.
Price varies by brand. Expect Twenties to High Thirties per case.
On average your looking at $2150-$3950 per skid plus freight
I cannot give you a figure on how many skids we use as were a supplier so we don't use any personally.

I actually can remember a time when I was getting (Direct from factory) Field Blaze for 15$ a case...Back at Diablo Direct working with Troy...man those were the days...

ROFL....well you know....depending on how much your owed by a certain company (*checks "store credit"* in account...yep still $30,000) you just might get a deal like that.
Now thats not to say you can't get paint for a sub 10$ price tag. Your just going to be buying multiple containers (30 skids) at a time and have a very good relationship with the manufact.
If you were a field/store guy and you can remember a few years back before Diablo became Draxxus and you still purchased paint via Diablo Direct you can remember some pretty nice deals. That was at a time when things were far simplier and more worthwhile in the sport...not to mention Diablo was pretty much prooving themselves as the best company around by dishing out deals that today are legendary. If you were moving at least 3+ skids a month your cost on paint was at a insane low price. I really enjoyed those days, but like all good things they had to come to an end sometime... |

Our store is generally hunting and shooting sports. We just started carrying paintball about 3 years ago. And we get it from National instead of factory direct. So you know what our prices are. Not too impressive...

ya Troy is the man all needs be said 
for kid asking the question take map pricing the pricing you see at your local store and online stores and make a educated guess what you think they get it for. they obviously dont make $5 off a case of paint but they dont make $50 off a case of paint unless it is of course fpo paint. |
