i wanna burn dvds

hokay so i wants to burn dvds.
i got the stuff downloaded on my comp.
but is there a certain program or what not i need to burn that.
some one said something about .avi format or something
help me out

Anyhow. If you have the DVD burning software (nero or whatever) you can use something liek VSO ConvertXtoDVD which will convert a DIVX/XVID dvd movie (aka AVI) to DVD audio_ts/video_ts folders and required files. Once converted you simply open up Nero or whatever, select Video DVD and drop the files into the correct folders and burn.

If you have NERO VISION installed it will do all this for you and burn.

You could also use WinAVI, which is like ConvertX, but I think ConvertX quality is much better.

if not its not a big deal ill just...well you know

but anyhow

so wut ur saying is that if i have my regular file,. i simply convert it then take it into nero and it should burn as a dvd and i can play it on my tv

I have a program called 'VSO DivxtoDVD' which is probably the easiest I've found. There are various others ways you can go about it. If it's a movie you downloaded from p2p, it is mostly likely a divx encoded .avi. Google will help majorly for tasks such as these.

ight so i just sucessfully burned one, but it says plyback is unavialabel or something like that on my dvd player on the tv
