LOL when I walked by the stands during finals today, they were FULL - lots of paying people can't be wrong.
Since the NPPL has gotten some noteriety for being SUCCESSFUL on ESPN, why not charge for a more legitimized version of the sport?

I didnt read everything but just based off the first few posts I have to say that $10 is very reasonable it will sell out and I dont see how you can complain $30 for 3 days fo tournament action. Go get a job!

This is the first year they actually had people out there making sure you a paid.
Last year when they first started the new style layout which they continued this year they did not have people guarding the entrance to the grandstands.
But it was huge let down this year. I expect alot more from Nppl...

they're thinking about wrapping the stands around the field at HB in '07...that would be sick.

What?!?! You mean I actually have to pay $10 for something that cost $25,000 for the NPPL to rent for one event?
Stands are expensive. You want them. You pay for them.

haha, it was worth it, I payed this morning and got in whenever I wanted. I had front row seats right on the 50 throughout semis and finals.
I have no problem paying ot get in, it is a very reasonable thing to do.
although 2.50 for a bottle of water is ****ing outrageous.

On fri you didnt have to pay for the grandstands.
Didnt go sat.
Sun I payd and came and went as I pleased and always got great seats.
$20 for a college basketball game in some unknown college then $10 for the best paintball in the world is worth it.
2.50 for a coke

Amazing , you do know it costs mega bucks to do an event like that the right way?
As an original NPPL member I had no issue with the cost even though I had put tons of my own money to play back in the day.
Just amazed how far the game has come. Too many from this era do not know how far it has evolved. Enjoy it, there was a time when every tourney had different rules, the refs were made up of girlfiends of the promoter-neighbors-some guy they met the night before-and their kids.
I was impressed.
For those that claim to have climbed in, I sat near the Stadium side waiting to see how far anyone would get. Was there all Sunday , didnt see one person sneak over. Everyone had bands on, and yes they sold out. People stood at exit buying bands from people who were leaving.
