Bought a NIB Pure Energy 68/45 tank from him. The deal went soso.
- I had to pay 81,80CAD of custom fees...he declared 200US$ as the parcel's value. The deal was 175US shipped. I had to pay fees calculated on 200US$ package.
- It was supposed to be a new in-box (NIB) never aired tank and the original box is nowhere to be found. The tank arrived in a brown carton box with stuffing and nothing else. The tank is pretty new though, but the fact that it's NIB leaves me in doubts.
I'd pay more attention as to shipping details (especially if you're not in the US) and product details if I have to do business with again.

As a response to the above post, I had specifically stated to UPS that the parcel was a gift, and I would fill out the required customs forms. The lady clearly heard me, but only requested a phone number. I declared the value to be 200$ so that I would have a comfort zone so that if the package was lost, (which has happened before in international shipments) that I could forward to him the 200$ for a tank and the trouble. The tank was NIB. The only reason I did not send the box is because the box was a cardboard cover with a price tag. My team Revolution Inc. won these in a tournament and the results and the tank in its original package can be seen at wppseries.com under the photo section. Yes, the tank did arrive in a box. That's how it had to be shipped. It is more than "pretty new." I don't falsely advertise my products. That tank wasn't even screwed onto a gun set up ever. My apologies for the customs fee. I did tell UPS to ship it as a gift. Unfortunately, I have no control of what they actually do. I do pay attention to shipping details. Once again, this was not an error on my part. Sorry.
