CHEAPEST material for a speedball feild?
I was wondering if anyone had some ideas of extremly cheap, bulk material to build a decent speedball feild. I dont care if its wood, plastic, metal ect. all i ask is that it is not too heavy, Thanks!

Wooden pallets. A lot of companies who use them normall trash them after they get what was delivered on them. So you can find some for most likely free. Just gas and a truck to carry them. Sure, they have gaps, but if you have enough pallets, you can strip wood from one to cover the other.

dont use pallets they break really easily, use teh wire spools alot of electric company have them, they come in ALOT of dif sizes for your all important backs and your smaller ones for your front bunkers, we made a field behind my house out of them, we called up the electric companys and they were more than willing to help us get rid of the spools

You can make a tire field, My father owns a car dealership, and they pay somebody to get rid of them... I have my own field now and take most of them!!

I've always thought of tires but wouldn't that be an environmental hazard?

If you were smart you'd offer to take the tires away for half of what it costs them currently. (heck, when you're done with the field then it's your turn to pony up the cash for disposal) Not only a free field, but you'll be getting paid to make the bunkers.

the only thing with tires is that water tends to get stuck in them, then mosquitos nest...
u need to drill hols in teh tires so they can drain and maybe cover them up...unless u liek mosquitos

not at all, ive used wood pallets from home depot and covered the openings with wood i had laying around or really thick cardboard and its still standing today and works great. their is no way in hell a gun is going to shoot through a wood pallet unless your shooting a marble at 50000000 fps. its not going to happen.
