The Omen has a stock vertical regulator (most markers nowadays do). This means it will take the pressure coming from your tank and drop it down to what your marker needs to fire.
It is in no way "bad" for the gun, the regulator is just doing it's job.
They call it a low pressure gun because it uses a low pressure (~200 psi) to fire the paintball. High pressure guns use a high pressure (~800 psi). HP guns are slightly more effiencent, but break balls easier and USUALLY have more kick.
