umm...do u seriously think that rental players(aka brand new players to the sport) will know/care the difference between all of this...make packages instead of people picking all this specific stuff of the basics (gun, mask, tank, hopper) and maybe have one or 2 deluxe rentals that include extra stuff like packs or maybe a revvy(nothing above a revvy tho, too much to worry about for a rental)

The more uniform the rental package the easier it will be to maintain for you, so keep it simple and offer one package, two at the most. New players won't know what all of the stuff is/how it is 'better' and therefore worth the additional money. Also, a T98 is going to cost you a lot more than an R6 so you shouldn't be renting them for the same price.

being a field owner is one thing, but you sitll have a long time before you can do that. It cost's a lot more than you think, and you probably wont make anything near a fortune on it. Location is everything, and you cant just throw up a paintball field wherever you want. As far as renting items go, find cheap goggles that will last, cheap guns that will last (98's), vl hoppers, and c02 tanks or compressed air tanks (3000psi)



Renting out all the stuff like that is rediculous. You would never make your money back. It will cost you more $ to fix them and all, and the fact that no one will rent them, you will lose money like woah.

To answer you, the setup you are talking about is way too complicated to be practical. At most, a field should have a cheap rental package (Tippmans preferably) and a high end package for about $10 more. Good luck in a few years if you decide later to go through with starting your business.

Also, another problem with that would be what if the renter wanted a PM, but then ordered a gravity feed hopper (yes i realize that the PM's have eyes, but still) and a 9oz Co2 tank. Could cause a problem, a new player may know the diffrience between guns and go for the better one, but not know what the diffrence is between the other items.

Sticking to a basic thing is key. You can't have all those options, it will be near impossible to keep track of everything, plus the upkeep on the higher end guns will be hella high if you use it as a rental.

So, it's not stupid enough to work. Keep at it. BTW, you don't really need to rent out jerseys.
