Tommy Pemberton comes Home as Chris Schooling Leaves
Tommy Pemberton has rejoined Nexus after returning from his US experiences.
I'm glad he came back it was a 'natural homecoming'
Tommy and I had an agreement that on his return to England he would always be coming back to Nexus, he is a world class player and we now have a team where he can re-establish himself as such.
Tommy needed to get something out of his system and I am really pleased to have him back with us and I honestly believe he will now be a more mature player than when he left which bodes well for all of us connected with the team'.
Tommy says, 'It feels great to be coming home to the team where it all started for me as a pro, Pete has bought some real class players into the team and I'm really pleased to be part of the new Nexus set up.
There have been a few rumours flying around about me recently as to what teams I am supposed to be going to but I was only ever gonna return to one team and I've kept my word to Pete and done just that, it's great to be back home with Nexus'.
This new arrival coincides with the departure of Chris Schooling from the Nexus squad due to a problem with commitment.
Changing circumstances at work meant that Chris was now unable to commit as the team needs with the US events now becoming impossible for him to attend and so he decided that he had no other choice other than to leave.
Chris was a valued member of our squad and I think in time I could have made him reach his true potential, he's a real cool guy and we are all gonna miss having him around.
I wish Chris all the best for the future.
