Take the ribbon out again, wipe off the contact where it goes into the molex connector, reinsert.

are you closing the connector? Silver side should be up fyi. make sure the connector is closed..

Unfortunately there is no way to fix an eye ribbon. As far as getting a new one, you might want to try calling Dye directly. I hear they are real forgiving when it comes to replacing things. The other route would be compulsivepaintball.com. If I remember correctly they are about 35-40 bucks for a new set.

Once you remove the noid, its a piece of cake. If you decide to get one off of Dye just say you just got this gun off of ... fill in the blank... paintball.com and it did not work out of the box. Tell them your symptoms and they will most likely send you a new ribbon. The only thing you may need to buy is a phillips head screwdriver that is small enough to remove both noid mounting screws.

Nope, the eyes are attached to the ribbon. The only way to know if the story will fly is give it a shot. Worse case scenario is you will have to buy a new one. Remember anything can be sold as long as it's done with confidence.

1. Check your battery. Always the first thing you should do. If that doesn't help refer to number 2.

2. If you are shooting as fast as you can and the gun won't let you shoot past 10 bps. with the eyes on your eyes are messed up. Same thing happened to my gun... the eyes were messed up and the gun was capped at 10 bps. Just order new eyes from Dye/Proto.

Or maybe the ribbon came disconnected from the eye restraint underneath the grip frames. Or it could be in upsidedown... used to happen to me alot.

I would personally wait for a little while until Lucky releases the lazer eyes (wired) and their new boards for them. But only if you have another gat to use until then.
