Check in this order:
1. Battery
2. Make sure you tank is screwed all the way into your ASA
3. If you have an on/off, make sure it's turned all the way on.
4. Raise your dwell a few clicks.
5. Dissasemble reg, clean and lube.

That's everything I can think of at the moment.

re: #3 when turning your on/off all the way on, don't turn it too far on... that can restrict flow and/or damage your tank. turn it on till it airs up then like 1/2 to 1 more turn

Try cleaning and relubing the bolt orings and all the orings in the stages. There might be some problem there but I think the knight's post got everything else...

There was a topic that mentioned that using after market bolts along with the QEV causes or can cause FPS issues, awhile back. A few players I know had to raise their dwell over 40 which caused them to go back to being gas hogs which defeated the purpose of having the QEV installed.

That's wierd since qev's and aftermarket bolts are both supposed to increase efficiency. Too much of a good thing eh? I've always wondered if too many upgrades could hinder the delicate balance of low pressure guns.

Sounds about right, because when I first bought my Ion from lucky a long time ago, with the LBM bolt/qev. He had set the dwell at 44, witch sounded extremely weird since I had a qev in there and the lightest bolt on the market. I changed it down to 15 and for some reason..the gun wouldnt even cycle..(its was lubed) so I changed it to 24 and I saw a little drop in fps. I put it back to 44 and it works.
