Ion pressure

i was a my local feild yesterday with my ion and sing my 47/3k crossifre tnak it said my pressure on the gun was at 130 psi and my shots had no drop off but when i screwed on my buddies 68/4500 pure energy tank my pressure shot up to 195/200 psi and i had crazy drop off and my shots were shooting hot but i have never had the problem with my crossfire , so this bringes me to my question was it jsut the 2 different brands of tnaks for was it because one was a 3000 tank and the other was a 4500?

the difference in pressure between a 3000 and a 4500 should not matter. The reg on the pure energy tank must have a higher output of air flow or just a really inconsistant reg. I know crossfire regs are one of the best.

ya the 4.5k/3k diff isn't going to change anything. The only diff would be if the output pressure of the tank(High pressure/Low pressure). There is a chart on recharge time in the air forum and the PE isn't bad at all, crossfire reg is better though. Might be time to lube and clean your reg, along with everything else.

I know some HPA tanks put out 800 psi and some put out 850psi.
