FAA regulations?

I tried searching if there is a thread please link me to it!

I was just wondering the regulations of the FAA and if i should know anything about traveling with my gear.. Thaks!

You can't fly with a tank with a regulator or valve on it. Unless your tank has a removable reg, I'd suggest emptying the tank and sending it ahead to your hotel.

You are also better off checking your markers. I've had some success in carrying gear on before, but if it is packed up and checked, it'll be ok.

degas your tank, and take the tank reg off....i've been fine doing this the past 3 years flying on american, delta, jetblue, etc. also make sure all tools, tanks, guns, all that stuff is in your check on baggage that goes under the plane. otherwise no probs with other stuff...just people wonder who all these people are with CHRONIC stickers, DYE, EVIL, etc. you will get quite the stare when travelling for sure...

you can carry on 2 cases of paint if you are looking at bringing some back, but do not put it in your check on it will weigh too much and cost you 80$ extra if you are over 50 pounds for your check on.
