Squall

I'm going to be ordering a Squall, but I was hoping you guys could answer a few questions I have about it:

1) Does anyone know if or how much the ram placement on the "classic" version of the squall helps the balance, or if there are any disadvantages to the ram placement on a classic vs. a normal squall?

2) Would a sight hood and a feed plug leash be good additions or would they just get in the way?

3) Does anyone have pictures of squalls in colors other than the standard silver/black?

Thanks

I like having a feed plug leash, but I do not own a squall, so I guess this doesn't help much. But it's one less part you have to worry about losing in the field if you have a leash on it.

i wouldn't worry about the balance of your squall due to the ram placement.
a squall is longer in feel and in that respect i use two hands while firing anyway.

the sight hood is a big plus and it adds to the elegance.
i'd say a must have, but maybe not for you.

the leash is a help, but i've never had one. i've only lost a feed plug once in a fire fight...
here's a link to see pics of a squall w/ a tether.

i had a squall that was powdercoated black and a squall that was powder coated grey.
i'm guessing the powder coat colors are limited but you can buy accents for the rest of the squall.
like this:

i've had 5 squalls and 3 micro-squalls (stroker).

Thanks for the pics and info.

I'm still curious about the classic version vs. the normal one if anyone knows the pros./cons. to it.

Just read the Palmer site under "classics":

A standard Typhoon will perform just as well as a Classic with the same
options, but if you like to show off in the staging area, then this is
your paintball marker.

thanks freedom....your blk45#1'll always be one of the best squalls out there...sorry to hear you parted ways with it, albeit a good home, however I know there will never be a pistol shortage in your brood.

I think I know where in the circle it lies...gotta keep track of the treasures
