different detents

hey guys i tried putting in piranha detents and they work great no more chopping and they are big enough that a halo will not push the balls past them. this might be better than taking one detent out.

hm, I used Timmies, and had to take one out. Lol I remember getting to the field, and I shot a few times. Well by the time I figured out what was wrong, I had about 11 balls in my barrel

That would make sense. The Piranha detents are softer than the stock and Timmy ones. Good possible solution for those having problems.

I bought detents from there and I just got them in the mail today.
I had to cut part of it though since the base didn't fit into the groove in the gun body. It seems to work great and with my egg, i shot like 50 rounds and didn't have any chops.

i'll give a full update after the next time i use it in a day of paintball.

im using timmy detents....seems fine...maybe i will try those pirhana detents..are those like the same as spyder?

close but the Spyder base is a little too big for Wrath.

the base is too big, but with a little trimming with sharp scissors and you can't ask for better detents.

I just shot about 100 rounds through it with my egg2 w/ zboard, and not a single chop. We'll see how it works on the field. It's nice to have two detents vs. only one weak one. I'll test it with my halo b w/ victory board sometime later this week.

So far i'd recommend these detents, they just require a little bit of cutting.

i am trying to make a new type of detent for the wrath. i have made the mold i just have to find the right material. i was thinking some low temp silicone. dont know if you guys have any suggestions on what type of material you would like i will try it.

Yeah I have been working on that as well, the only problem with low temp is it tends to become sticky in bomby weather, I currently have some sheets of this metal thats found in eletrical transformers, 75 percet silicone , but 25 percent aluminum I bealive. Odd stuff , but It has amazgin flexability , I don't have a furnace so it refuzes to melt

Up north we have a hard time finding Wrath parts so i"ve been using these Piranha detents with Halo and egg for over a year now. Wrath detents lasted 1 game. I still replace, but not too bad.

guys it think i have figured it out. i am using a special rubber-like material from work. but i am putting a piece of string down the center of the detent to help with durability. going to try out this weekend. time for the test trials. will give report on findings. going to use reballs so that i can give it a hard trail.

im using EGO detents now since those where the only detents that i could find at my local shop. Shot a full hopper through and it seems working well. I know more when the weekend comes.
