Problem with E-vents' foam?

The foam on the inside of my E-vents connected to the white rubber/plastic is all unglued. You can tell there was glue there, but it's all not glued anymore. I've never played with the mask, and I don't think this is normal. Any suggestions? I would PM Manike, but his pm/e-mail is disabled.

no I wouldnt superglue it. Plastic and foam can dissolve pretty badly when superglue hits it. Send it back, dont mess with it. Thats a $90 mask and if you try to fix it yourself chances are you'll void your warranty

I'll never complain about my profiler ever again

that would be a good idea if NPS wasnt backordered on events.

if you want to send it back and wait awhile to get them, i would. but if u dont, just live with it for now

exactly....the factory has accidentaly glued it there (like on a lower quality mask)....the glue isnt sopposed to be there in the first place because the mask flexes....just rub the glue off with your finger (this is coming from manike)

In assembly they tried to glue some in that area (like they are supposed to with the Cylus goggles) and it just peels up from the flexible white part. It's not going to come off because of how it glued to the black. You can just rub off the glue from the white area or leave it.

We are still fine tuning the assembly process and people assembling the goggles. There are so many variations of the mask that they have made some small mistakes like this, but most of them we have caught.
If you send it in, I'll simply rub off the glue that wasn't supposed to be there in the first place, then send it back to you.

You'll see all E-Vents and Avatars in the future won't have glue in this area, they are only glued to the hard lens frame area (the black part in your picture).

Yep, that would have been me.

You're a Texas guy? I miss the paintball factory too. I loved living in Dallas. Shame they moved me.

Ah haha. It was just in a wierd location, was 15 minutes from my house in good traffic. When did you have to move? If you ever come to DFW again, I recommend Xdrenaline Zone on Grapevine Lake... it's a sweet place to play, 5 airball fields, e-z fill stations... anywho, Thanks.

I lived in Deep Ellum so it was only about 15mins for me also. Was a great place. I left just as they were setting up the place at Grapevine lake. I checked it out but never got to play there.
