Setting the speed: When the
Reloader B is first turned on, while the
LED flashes for one long second, press
and hold the power button again during
this flash. When done properly, the LED
will now change to red and you can
release the button. The LED will only stay
red for about 5 seconds, then change
back to its flashing green sequence for
regular operation if no buttons
are pressed. To set the
speed during the red
LED phase, push and
release the button
the number of times
necessary based on
what speed you
desire. Press once
for normal speed,
twice for faster
speed, and three
times for fastest
speed. Each time
you press and
release the button
during this sequence,
the press
of the button should
last about one second. If
done too quickly, the board may
not be set to the speed you desire.
When done correctly, the red LED will go
off, then flash the same number of times
the button was pressed, indicating which
speed itís now set to. Then the green LED
will flash the same number of times if you
are using the 6 AA battery pack, or the
orange LED will flash the same number of
times if you are using the 4 AA battery
pack. The motor will now spin up at the
speed it is set to, it will stop, and now the
speed is set and the unit is ready to use.

...nope... But if you're using super brittle paint, I'd suggest turning it down to 2 or 1...

setting 2 is all you really need. I always have mine on setting 2 unless I'm messing around with ramp or have low filiters on during open play/fight night at the local field.

no halo with victory has 6 settings
setting 1: 17 BPS
setting 2: 21 BPS
setting 3: 24 BPS
setting 4: 28 BPS
setting 5: 32 BPS
setting 6: 35 BPS
To enter programming mode with the HALO™ Victory Board™ press and hold the button when HALO™ is in an OFF state until the LED begins to flash. Release the button.. HALO™ will begin to sequence the current mode selected. For example 3 GREEN flashes means you are at speed 3 - 24bps. Now in programming mode, each time the button is pressed the program advances 1 increment. Press the button once per each advancement. When you have advanced to the setting you would like, do not press the button any further. This indication will repeat itself for 10 seconds then HALO™ will then turn itself off. Programming is complete.

no it will stay on the same setting as it was on before battery removal

and for everyone that asked as far as i know a new halo or reloader comes stock on setting 1 and u can change it to your liking, and usually setting 2 is all i need unless messing around at home. to see what setting ur on when u turn it on it will blink once, then a long flash, and after that it will flash a number of times (once for setting one, twice for setting two etc...)

i bought a reloader B with the B2 upgrade board in it from a friend but he didn't have the directions for changing settings on it. I was wondering if anyone he had that info because i've tried googling and searching the forum and i can't find anything.
