We made the trade.
He shipped first, big hold up due to wrong address, but I didn't hold that against him.
I did get the gun, but found out after he reshipped that the fittings were leaking. Ok not too big a deal. I was able to fix that. However the gun didn't operate properly. It was a trilogy pro. The problem was, the gun would recock itself at rediculously low velocities, but at normal or high velocities it wouldn't recock.
I ended up shipping the gun to wgp for repair. The reg needed to be replaced, the cocking arm need to be replaced (it was bent much more than normal), and all of the springs needed to be replaced because they were aftermarket and not designed for an autococker. They were actually pretty generous with the bill ($55 for parts and labor to replace all of that stuff)... that doesn't include the additional $15 that I had to pay to ship the item to repair.
So the gun works great now, but it cost me $70 to get it to work at all.
So unless he is willing to pay for all or at least half of that bill, i'm gonna have to rate this transaction low/mid, only because the gun didn't arive at all as described. However all of the additional equipment was in great shape, and I was overall impressed with the package (except for the condition of the arriving gun.) I can also provide pictures of the invoice for repair as well as pictures of the actual gun with a brand new stock reg in place.
He's a nice guy, but not very responsible. Sorry.
I shipped my stuff out priority the next day, and everything was mint and packaged extremely well, just as advertised. I was just a little dissapointed (and $70 poorer) with the transaction.
I'm in no way saying not to conduct a trade with him, but definately get some high quality proof that the stuff is in good condition first.
