uh i hate to stop this before it gets into later round but how about we get back on track and actually show some love for the best team in the world, not b!tch about rosters and language barriers, they can understnad english and they speak it although with an accent, whoo-hoo, i doubt the ref didnt pull fed cuz he wouldnt understand what she was saying, she either didnt see it or it didnt happen. now lets show some support.

uhhh lets see, RL played as Nexus at the last event last year. They played NPPL in 2004 as well. Chicago for sure, I was there. So NO this wasn't their 1st NPPL......... how about the fact that they're human and can't possibly win em all?

ltz is a very good team. they earned that spot. the russsians just need to get back into the 7 man groove. they spent all of that time preping for cup. they probably just didnt get enough practice time in with the 7man format. we all know how hard it is to switch formats from event to event.

actually, I didn't figure it to hamper the russians like this. Lets face the one single important fact here, they are the best prepared team in paintball. thats' a FACT. Maybe playing tourneys in back to back weekends, plus the week they were in florida before WC just drained em. that might be it, but with their training staff I would think they could handle it. Maybe they were "hung over" from losing to Trauma. But whatever the case, Sergei can't be happy right now. And to you "fans" that think this is their first NPPL, you need to learn the history of your favorite pro team. They were at one point only SLIGHTLY behind Dynasty in terms of 7 man skill. That was before they could shoot left handed and run and gun like they do now. Watch Jawwbreaker 4, the one with Ollie Lang, they have some monster games vs Dynasty on that one. Granted it was at Millenium, but this most def. wasn't their first NPPL.

whatEVER, there is a hitch somewhere, they are not playing as they were earlier this year; like a triathelete, could they be over trained? you lose your edge if you over-train. whatever the problem, I'm sure it can be identified, corrected and they'll be back

next year, bigger and badder than ever, besides, they have my respect cause they have CLASS!!

I am on epic techna-trigger and it was amazing to play against these guys....They cover the lanes well and move very quickly up the field. Im not making excuses but if you ask The legion...they will tell you that we had 3 guns go down in the chrono tent. And the game start time was delayed to try and get the guns up. We almost started the game going 3 down because of the guns. Which we were gonna go 4 on 7. but we ended up going 6 on 7. But Like i said..Im not making excuses because they more than likely would have beaten us anyway but it probably wouldnt have been as quick. Shook all of their hands and congratulated them on a fine win....Great bunch of guys. Including their coach.

No. Some of the players became the coaches you see today, and other retired. Only a couple are still active players.
