Dude its almost a week away, give it some time. I am pretty sure they would have webcams, why wouldnt they, they get good money for it.

We have decided to discontinue this offering because we were quite frankly losing our shirt every time we offered it at an event. It costs thousands of dollars and weeks of work for us to provide the equipment, bandwidth and technology to produce and web cast an NPPL event. We would love to do it but it just doesn’t make enough money to be worth the tremendous drain on resources. Thanks again for your past support on this project but for now we have put it back on the shelf.

I'm sure there's "less costly" ways of doing it. There's plenty of software that would live stream to a server or something of that nature. I would even lend my server to help out lol.

Hell, an instant messanger webcam broadcast would be better then nothing! lol (obviously being sarcastic)

There is no "less costly" way to fly the manpower in needed to run cams, or house them, or man the booth to sell gear to offset the aforementioned costs.

I dont think the server is the issue. I think the problem is the location (It is not easy to get a high bandwidth line into these locations, most of the time). I also think that the idea grew too fast, to a point. I remeber in HB of last year when they had the webcam set up at the pbn booth and it refreshed every 5 seconds. It was a revolutionary idea to move up to the NPPL field tower. Eventually one camera evolved into two. People wanted more, faster refresh, etc, and it just got too big for this site. In my oppinon.
