With an attitude like that, it's any wonder I gave you a neutral rating.
you definetely brouht this on from that last post, here's the rundown of what all happened. If any one is curious, for the actual emails and IM's email me.
When we started, it was off www.bartertown.com
. On this site I have a trade rating of 60 (rather good, ive also been a member for nearly 3 years.)
Willy had a rating of 0, and as per the norm on B-Town, I asked him to send first. He refused, stating references here. I looked here, and saw that in comparison, he would have a rating of roughly 16. As well as that, there was only one instance of him selling anything. After pointing that out, and stating that he needed the money, he agreed to send first.
Now in my assumption he understood when I said, "if you send monday, it should be here by friday," as being sent USPS Priority mail. Sending parcel post as he did delayed it by the weekend, and getting to me on monday. As a side note, Priority would have likely cost about 15 cents more with DC.
Once I recieved the items I, as normal go through and take stock, making sure everything is as was told, and there. It wasn't. Pieces were missing, broken due to poor shipping methods. When I informed him of this he said, "would you want me to ship more out? cause if they are missing then they are prob around my rooom somewhere."
I informed him that I wanted him to complete his end of the arrangement, by shipping the rest of the items, as he agreed to beforehand. After reciept of these I would gladly send the money order out. He told me that he'd get back to me after searching for the missing items.
When he did, it was less than the stated amount. So for that he "tossed in" some other items. When he decided that he didnt want to send first he decided to change the agreement; lower the cost to me, by the amount of what was missing. I agreed, though I took the exact amount of what was missing out of the money order, and he really didnt like that.
Along with a few pushy comments, "hey i hope you sent the money, i dont like this where i would have to wait another week. you promised me the money by thursday. keep me posted." When it was said I would send after it arrived, not on a certain day; being the biggest one, he wasn't too bad.
This however, from above, "Besides the kid was a prick anyways lol."
Shows how immature he is himself. Being a "prick" is necessary, at times, when dealing over the net. Circumstances wrought me being one, (yes I am admitting it, I even said it in one of our convos: "I'm probably coming accross as a bit of an ***, but thats how I see things."
The only thing I can really think of was that he was trying to pull one over on me, and I didn't let it happen.
I warn any who deal with him to be very concise, and keep everything. I still won't say be worried, but wary would likely be appropriate.
'Till his next response;
