What's this electro fetish you have? You've said twice you don't want anything but ... but you keep getting in trouble for overshooting.
Anyways, Automags are awesome guns for woodsball. Personally, I prefer the stainless classic body for woods. You can get a good classic, level 10 anti chop bolt, and a double finger Intelliframe for $300 used. All mechanical, as reliable as it gets, as indestructible as it gets, quiet, and as accurate as it gets (with a good barrel) ... or at least as accurate or more accurate than 98% of the guns out there.
Tippmanns are good (I have 3) but not as good as a mag. Mags are one level above Tippmann.

i'd say get a mag, they're cheap (used classics go for $100), indestructable, and a hell of a lot easier to disassemble than a tippy (one thumb screw, no tools) . the twist lock barrel is even easier to remove than the tippy's idiot-proof duplo threads. the other nice thing is that you can upgrade these things to the point where it's literally not even the same marker anymore. do some searching and you'll find that there are some very sexy (dallara) and surprisingly fast (20bps) mags out there. look AO and here.
if you simply must have an electropneumatic i'd suggest a used b2k. you can get them used for a song on ebay. i just picked one up for my friend's little brother for 180 shipped and it freaking rips.
and now that the apex barrel is out you don't have to get a tippy to enjoy the flatline.

Well, I think the problem is that he already *has* a good electro gun, or at least claims to. Most of us would be perfectly happy playing woodsball with a Shocker. It's like someone saying they would like to buy a slower sports car, but it has to be a V8 with turbo. Sorry, there just isn't that many choices and everyone uses something else already.

the easiest thing to do is instead of using a motorized hopper just throw on a gravity fed hopper and that should slow down ur gun if it has eyes. I play woods ball with an evil pimp and it a lot easier to just learn to control ur fire than get a new gun.

if you still havent got a gun yet you should checkout an automag
very consistent/reliable guns.
the a-5s are nice..but really the hopepr system negates all the positives it has.
the hopper is always gonna get hit and is ahrd to seea round.
it offers no real advantages.
if your gonna go tippy get a -98 with rt
or a pro classic/ule mag
