tap & stuff
You can get all of this stuff at any hardware store. The tap should be 3.00, the set screw should be less than .50, and the teflon tape is a buck. I did this trigger job to my EXT G2 and it works great. It'll be the best 4.50 you'll ever spend.

im trading my cocker for a fish soon, and i saw this trigger mod thread and thought, yey fish owners are smart! but anyways, i had a shutter that had a trigger mod done to it, it wasnt shortened or anything but i think a kid put a clicky pen spring in the tigger return springs place, i could shoot that gun so fast, i once outshot a 12 volt rev, now i was gonna try this mod if i dont like the trigger pull stock, butt i was really wonderin how i could do what that kid did to my shutter. i didnt get to watch him do it, it was his gun at the time, can someone tell me how to do this to a pihrana trigger ,or tell me if it cant be done
thanks

Well I dont really know what the clicky pen spring did that the stock return spring dosent do?
If all its doing is returning the trigger to the foward position sooner than it is stronger, but this will make your trigger harder to pull!
If u had a pic of it that would help my right brain.
glad this is working for you all so well

Darkstar, do you still have the pics available since they're non-viewable now? I was wanting to try the trigger job on my ext pro but I would like the pics for visual aids. Thanks.

Shorter trigger pull
I posted a thread back on 10-30-2002 called "Trigger Jobs" that might help you out. You'll have to go back a few pages to find it. If you have any Q's I can try and help whrn I am able to get on a computer again. I am overseas as I have been called up with the reserves for a year. Good luck.

I have a better way of doing it. Just pull your trigger as far back as it can, then glue a washer in front of the trigger. U should hear a click, when u release slowly. Thats all.
 its so easy!!!

Trigger Pull
That is a wedge mod, which is a good idea. You can also use a piece of a credit card or something of similar thickness. However, it will not solve the majority of the long trigger pull. You could add a wedge mod to that spring compressing that protsfreak talked about in a different post and that might be nice. But it is still only going to take up the front slack, which is not that much on these Piranhas.

Don't know about your frame, but every composite frame I've used has had just about 5 mm of front slack. I made up for it by glueing a small bead in front.

Yea i kno makes me sound retarded but better ask u and feel dumb in stead of messin my gun up. And if u would rather email me or IM me thatd b good 2.

Hey NoSkilLWilL242
You want to screw it in from the bottom so you can adjust it with the trigger frame mounted on the gun.
