I know this is alittle late but if anyone going to IAO has a WAS equilink cable you'd make me happy if you brought it. I'd like to update my unmilled to 1.6 status. If not no big deal. Thanks.

ill have a vlink and equalink with me, but good luck catching me with a machine that can use the equalink. My laptop lacks the com port needed to make it work, and i cant find any of the USB to Com port adaptors.

Ok next question. Reading the WAS website it says "If you already have v1.3 or later of the Equalizer firmware, DO NOT install the bootloader update!" Is updating the bootloader a necessary step or do I just update to 1.6?

we did pretty good as a team last year in NPPL, 1st overall div III (Just Paintball). One thing we'd never do is update firmware, settings, whatever before a tournament. I hope you aren't playing. Just simple advice, go with what you practiced with.

Thanks. I just thought that since everyone would be in one area I could get the board updated while I was there.

Update: We played 10 games in a round robin format (Kevin's fault). We lost a couple, maxed out six (or something like that) and are 2nd going into prelims tomorrow. Andy says hi.
