smart parts taking over the world?

apparently smart parts is sueing icd for there copyright of the electropnuematic marker, somehow smart parts has a copy right to any gun that has a battery activated by a switch and fired through solenoid.........and the article says sp may sue every company manufacturing a marker like this one by one....just thoguht it was kindof interesting

yeah this was a couple of years ago though
but a few months ago DYE took SP to court 4 copying their bolt
there was a thread on it u can prob find it in the search

hmm... I don't know much about pneumatics. even though I own smart parts products, I wouldn't want they to screw over every other company. But once their patent expires they'd be screwed, and companies have found other ways to activate the cycle...

i dont agree with SP about sueing every electric marker, but what if u made something and copyrighted it, then a bunch of people made the same thing?..even though it sounds wrong because there paintball guns, there were actually the first to make an electro..so its wrong but its right...

Ah smart parts gettin in over there head again they might just kinda wanna be happy over the sales of there guns they already have n the market cause i am preety sure they have plenty of $.
