Phoenix: That would be cool. THEBETTERONE is going to make me a VERY thin blade trigger for the EVO. It should be nice.

I wouldn't buy a wooden trigger. Just seems it wouldn't be as durable. O well.

Would it be possible to perform this mod completely externally with a small slab of nylon? This might be a better option for those who fear damaging their merker. (Complete speculation. None of this has been tested. Try at your own risk.)

1. Measure out exactly how far your trigger needs in both directions. Make sure your measurements are extremely accurate.

2.1 If the front of your trigger meets the frame at a right or acute angle...
- this trigger job will be more accurate.
- carve some nylon to fit both in front and behind the trigger and glue flush to the frame.
- allow for exactly enough room for the trigger to operate, plus some (based on how much jiggle you got

2.2 If the front of your trigger meets the frame at an obtuse angle...
- might be less accurate (with wear over time), but could reduce tourque and pressure on the actuating parts within the marker.
- simply place nylon to brace lower end of trigger only.

3. Carve to perfection.

Pros:
- No modification to the marker at all.
- easily removed, rebuilt, reset (depending on how you mount the nylon)
- Easy, especially if you have a dremel tool.

Cons:

- This requires that your trigger is extremely accurate itself. Any jiggle or wear will void this idea.
- After long term use, wear or slight warp within actuating parts might prove that the nylon is in the way. You could carve more or rebuild the nylon slabs without changing your gun at all.
- Might reduce finger movement.

But hey, it's an idea and I welcome anyone to try it, or use the idea to build upon further.

On my mech R6, I carved a small block of wood and put it in the trigger frame. Its in that small rectangular thing right in front (front being the direction you shoot) of where the spring goes. When you pull the trigger it hits the block and stops. Its very simple but works quite well. The goal is to eliminate the travel of the trigger after your gun has already shot. Its kinda hard to explain so I'll try and get pics sometime.

EDIT: I also inserted a small plastic washer in the little pin where the trigger is and it takes out a lot of side to side slack. Then, I changed the stock trigger spring with a pen spring. My trigger is sanded down without the bump in the middle. With a little more modding I'm going to eliminate the useless pull before the gun shoots. I will try to get pictures up next weekend or something.
