Hey Legacy, how often do u guys practice as a team?

Team Legacy is more then a paintball team but friends, we play all the time together. Pretty much every weekend a big group of us will be playing. Usually we practice every two weeks as a full squad. We all live in so cal and play at sc village.

We do not have a team entered.....There will be some of the guys there playing with other teams though.

maybe this was already asked but how does one try and go about getting on to your team or any pro team for that matter is there tryouts or do u like go out a scout people at fields

It is sort of all the above...

Usually a player is referred..or recommended by someone.. The player will have most likely play on a National Sponsored Team that has been going to the National Tournaments ie: PSP's

There have been instances where a player shows up and wants to try out! I remember Kenny when he tried out... I did not think he was going to make it.. He was too slow going to the X.. When he got there he didn't know what to do! I wanted to cut him but Doc wanted to keep him and work with him.. Well I was wrong and Doc was right! Look at him now. Brandon Short is another story of someone with not previous experience.. came and tried out and made the team...

You have to be willing to put yourself out there and be exposed.. You may make it or maybe not! Sometimes the team does not blend well with personalities and your turned down.

Don't be afraid of rejection.. This is a reason that many players try and hook up with there friends thinking that as a group and with friends there is protection and you don't have to be so exposed.. The higher you get into the pro level the more you are on your own...I have turned a good player away because they wanted to come with their friend and told me they were a package.. My answer was "bye"!
