Ive never taken any photography classes, and I havnt really gone out much and taken pics, just a few times at the field and stuff. Im using a Canon Rebel..my scanner really kills some of the quality

its because of my scanner...im not using a digital camera

Obey, as I said before, you should download Photoshop, and scan the negatives instead of the actual prints that you get back from the 1 hour photo place. The quality will be tenfold better, and you can manipulate the image a lot better.

I don't know why..... but the images give me a headache......

I dunno wether it's just me but the colors seem so off and faded. Everything seems to centered and boring. i dunno i just didn't like these pics for some reason. The action shots look decent but the color is still weird to me.

The net is messing up the contrast in every pic.

If you could read I said that those last 2-3 pics were through the net from about 2 years ago, because they were from an nppl event, and I didnt have a media pass. I also said that since I'm not using a digital camera, my scanner hurts the image quality, greatly. These pics look good, until they go through the scanner.

I've gotten to the point that I don't read photo threads unless I see something that really intrigues me or that I need an explaination of. Anything I can identify teh subject in probably requires no caption
