I need help here guys. This weekend I am buying a new B2K but I dont know what I should do with the air. Should I just screw in a pre set tank or get an adjustable tank? If I get a preset tank I would get a vigilante reg and an ASA adapter.

If you get a preset tank then you need a new HPR. If you buy an adjustable tank then the stock will work fine. If you buy a MacDev tank or a MaxFlo then you can go gas through. This is what I have done with a Max Attack and it is very consistant.

actually if you get the new B2K with the upgraded HPR you can use a preset tank just fine. if it is the old HPR than you will be able to use a preset for about 6 months until it will blow the reg. The new ICD HPR uses a different a and larger spring and will take the higher pressure of a preset tank.

I have a first gen bushmaster. Serial #1102. Had it for 2 years now, with the stock HPR and a preset nitroduck set at 850. Gun runs beautiful, only gone done once on me. The hammer snapped at the threads.

So you don't need a new HPR, and yes you can use a preset tank.
