if you have an sto or have shot one before tell me how you like it i am thinking about getting one. is it really tournament quality out of the box? is it air efficient? is it very high maitenance or if you dont screw around with it will it not break? is it smooth? is it accurate?

Few of my friends have them and they rule. The trigger pull is short sweet and butterly smooth. The new 2k sto's are also dead sexy. Um, they are set to go out of the box cept you need a new nitro system. Um, you can get a new barrel if you need one, but the stock J&J is good enough. You wont have to upgrade anything on it unless you feel like wasting money, but the efficiency is great, get around 900 shots out of a 68/3k tank. I highly suggest this gun.

they are one of the better cockers for the money.. although not as pretty as some your paing more for the performance than a fancy mill job and anod. only thing i dont like is they still come with a composit frame and preset reg..

there is basically no maintenance, and I dont know of any other cockers in that price range. Event though STO performs as good as freeflows kapps etc.... But go to my cocker site and see what you ahve to do for maintenance adn such. http://www.geocities.com/p8ntballwiz...utococker.html

Well. take a vert feed 2k1. add milling and ano and chrome parts and a venteri bolt and you got a sto and a j&j barrel. Doesnt sound like much but its a great gun. just get some new trigger springs. Id say 1000 shots per 68ci tank. But the Dark cockers give you a bit more. there is no better cocker for under 700

I like my sto its great all i have done to it is put on a metal frame next thign will be a front rock reg. I did have 1 problem with it though when i was playing with it for the 2nd time i couldn't get the timeing to stay after every game i would have to redo the timeing but now its fine works great.

i have a freind who runs his STO off of Co2 and it works pretty well, although i think hes an idiot for doing that, but hey, it works
