These are very good mid-level loaders. They're lighter than Halo's, and feed as fast as most guns needs. Good for pumps and mechanicals too.
They tend to break a lot. Especially the battery door and lid. This is why I sold mine and got a halo. Definitely buy spare battery doors, lids, gromets, springs, and duct tape if you buy this.
Other than that, its a good hopper... just breaks too much.
Fun to mod as well.

The egg 2 is a nice hopper but they don't come in solid colors so anyone can see if you run out of paint. There ugly. the battery door is a piece of **** and pops open. The switch is all to easy to accidently flip when you are hugging a bunker and their loud. good beginner loader and thats it

Went from a revvy to an egg, almost a predictable upgrade. Only used it on e-spyders.
First of all, it's ugly. I'm sorry but that's my opinion. And it's back-heavy, which probably contributed to the crack in the shell right in front of the neck. Also, the battery door is just not meant to live - that thing was taped shut nearly from day one of using the thing. Also, the lid was initially hard to open quickly until i learned of the 1-spring trick (remove 1 lid spring so the lid doesn't bite like a snapping turtle).
But i digress.
The performance wasn't actually bad at all. It fed constantly, i didn't go through batteries any faster than with my revvy & never had any performance-related problems. Definitely kept up with a spyder e99. But definitely would not use it on anything high end.

These are great hoppers for mid end guns. They DONT go the advertised speed but are fast hoppers. The only cons are the cheapish look/feel. The lid falls and breaks and the battery door is conchy at times.
I still reccomend it for non agressive players

I've never had a bad experience with any of these hoppers, they may not be the fastest but they keep up with how fast I shoot.
The look is nice and smooth which means cleaning/wiping it after a game is easy. I've had it hit about 15 times (guess I'm not a quick learner) and it's never so much as cracked. I broke a battery door, easy fix for $5 takes 2 9vs and lasts me nearly all season on those batteries (I change them anyways just to be sure) Has low batt light.
It's never died on me and has never broken a ball (I use fragile paint) I borrowed a halo v35 from a friend and that was a mistake, takes 6 AA's HEAVY, and also breaks paint like a mother. Egg is loud compared to other hoppers out there, and VERY loud when you run out of paint. I can hear it from across the field during a game.
The worst thing that has happen is I forgot to turn in on before a game and after about 5 shots ran out of paint, said "o crap" turned it on and within seconds I was shooting again. Feedneck is strong I've dropped my gun 3 times and it's still holding up. I own 2 of these and wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
The lid is nice because it stays open when loading and acts as a 'funnel' so you don't drop as much paint, also stay shut just fine. I've never lost a hopper of paint since I bought this.
Handles re-balls very well. Seems to keep up with 15BPS ramping just fine. Very light compared the the halo/empire loaders also sits lower on your gun, I cut the feedneck on mine and it's 1/2" lower than any other hopper on my gun.

Not to mention that you're not really sure if the lid is closed or not until you see half your pod that you loaded, get thrown out of the hopper and on to the ground. Not good.
And Viewloader feednecks are whack.
Buy used and for cheap, if you spent 60 (even maybe 40) on this you over paid. Good back up loader.
Not to mention the Egg looks about as good as a turd on the sidewalk.
