The Cyclone™ Feed System links the feeder sprocket to the air system for synchronized ball feed for reduced breakage and jamming. It feeds up to 15 balls per second and includes a wide mouth 200 Round Hopper that attaches via quick release elbow(98 model).
Available for Tippmann 98, and Alpha Black markers. Standard Equipment on Tippmann A-5 and X-7 markers.

The Cyclone feed provides an excellent battery-free alternative to high maintenance loaders. Built by Tippmann, the hopper is almost as durable as the markers in which it will be placed.
Most electronic hoppers run between $70 and $150 and can be used on any marker. While the Cyclone Feed satisfies its intended purpose, the fact that it can only be used on Tippmanns is a slight disadvantage considering you can pay $20 more and get a good hopper that will fit on any marker. That said, if you own a Tippmann and are looking for an upgrade, the Cyclone is an affordable and sensible option.
Positives:
+NO BATTERIES REQUIRED!
+Priced fairly
+Consistent feed even at high BPS
+Never breaks balls in hopper
+Fits on all Tippmann markers
+Durable, reliable, high quality exterior
Negatives:
-Internal ratchet needs replaced. The stock cycling-gear is VERY cheap.
-Heavier than most hoppers
-Very bulky

These are a fantastic alternative for Tippmann users looking to get a motorized loader but don't want to have to remember the batteries to power them. These feed consistently and really are well engineered.
The only drawback I've seen over the years with these loaders is the crappy plastic ratchet that Tippmann installs. Time and time again I've seen these snap at the tooth both on A5s and on those installed on 98s. If there is one upgrade you should get at the same time its TechTs aluminum ratchet. It will literally render this loader unbreakable.
Highly recommended for those that don't have A5s!

Okay, so the reason for the zero-dollar pricetag is that it came standard on my Tippmann A5.
The Cyclone is a reliable feed system working off of blowback air, which means that it doesn't use any more air than a marker with a regular loader. I've never had a chop while using the Cyclone, and it works really well at all rates of fire. It never stutters or double-feeds anything, even at eight or ten shots per second. I haven't upgraded anything on my Cyclone, and I've never had the need to. My friend has a Phenom with the Cyclone, and he chops a little, but only when he uses automatic with high-end paint. A simple application of TechT's Squishy Paddles solved that problem. Now, on to the bad.
It does add a large profile to the marker, increasing target area and hindering movement through tight spaces. I've been hit on the front of the Cyclone and its giant "football" hopper a few times. The X7 comes with a low-profile hopper, which I need to purchase as soon as I get some kind of money. Another bad thing is the weight. The Cyclone itself weighs probably a half-pound with the hopper on it. With paint, it shifts the balance of the marker to the right side because of the moment of torque.
Other than that, I would get this feed system. I want to try to put a Cyclone on a blowback, which would be a pretty darn fun project if you ask me! Get the Cyclone if you don't already have it!

I'm a Tippmann A-5 user so the cyclone system already comes standard with the gun. Anyway the cyclone feed system is great, if your A-5 or 98 is mechanical it can feed up to 15-20 bps and even more if you get aluminum cyclone internal upgrades. I've never had a problem with chopping paintballs, if I have my e-grip set in a fast firing mode I'll get a skip or two once in a while but not to the point where it becomes a concern. The only bad thing is the stock cyclone paddles are made of hard plastic and can be hard on high grade paint, I recommend the after market rubber squishy paddles for the cyclone feed system.

Tippmann Sports Cyclone Feed systemThis loader will fire every time your gun does. It is the most reliable loader on the market... and it doesn't require batteries.
