Crossfire, Inc. - 4500 PSI Regulator Reviews
Crossfire, Inc. 4500 PSI Regulator I think I got to use the tank 3 times when the burst discs blew on it. I tried emailing to company about it and no one answered me. By far the biggest waste of my money. I will never use this guys.

Crossfire, Inc. 4500 PSI Regulator a little bit big, great regs. Function properly never had a disc blow or anything, a little heavy just for because of the size of it but a great reg as far as function.

i bought my crossfire tank and reg combo back when fiber tanks were still fairly expensive. it was my first tank upgrade (after my pure energy 3K steely) and i wanted something that could last longer with my 2k2 Shocker (last year of the older model, before the spool)

its a great tank, i'm on my second hydro and i've only just now run into a problem. i don't know what it is, but i'm guessing its something to do with a seal inside the reg, because it leaks out of the split from the bottom and top of the reg body (mind you, this reg is old, and has since been upgraded by crossfire)

overall, i've gotten my money out of it, and when i need a new tank, i'm going to replace the tank itself and just have the reg rebuilt. why fix what isn't broken, right?

I replaced the regs on all my crossfire tanks with Guerilla Air Myth regulators. The crossfire reg is really big, heavy,, ugly and can't be serviced easily. As long as you don't care about those things, then they work great. If you ever have to work on your rank reg, forget it! These things are impossible to disassemble without destroying the reg. My crossfire tanks were all developing issues and so I needed to do something. I pulled off the worst reg and attempted to take it apart. There was no way to get the bonnet off. I think the reg is assembled with red locktite or some other glue so you can't service the reg. I guess taking a torch to the reg to heat up the glue might have made it possible to take it apart. Just get a GA Myth and you wont need anything other than an allen wrench to service the reg.

Crossfire, Inc. 4500 PSI Regulator this is for the tank as well. The regulator's recharge rate is unbelievably quick. you can shoot a marker at 25bps (Depends on regulator... used this with Detonator, cp v1, v2, hyper2, hyper3,...

Cons: heavy as a mo'fuzza
this is for the tank as well.
The regulator's recharge rate is unbelievably quick. you can shoot a marker at 25bps (Depends on regulator... used this with Detonator, cp v1, v2, hyper2, hyper3, torpedo, karnivor, sl2, sl3, ego5, ccm t2, dp g series, dp fx, dp rev-i, Luxe) and there are no "sagging balls" (lol, but a saggy ball is when you're "laying down ropes" at a high ROF and one or two balls kinda drop because the reg hasn't recharged fast enough to allow full volume to flow to shoot the paintball). the gauge is the perfect distance from the fill nipple to easily be able to fill and read the pressure (not that it really matters with a 4500psi system).

this tank is also incredibly cheap for a brand new tank and can probably last 50 years if you happen to keep one that long. so 5 stars for reliability and price.

i have to drop a star for value because there's a price to pay for all that awesomeness.. It weighs up to 1.4 pounds heavier than the competition... i don't have a big issue with it since I'm a manly man and bla bla... but for smaller and "lighter" players... this tank will kinda suck due to its bulk and weight. The stealth tanks are supposed to be lighter, cooler looking and come with a grippy back... but I don't have one so I can't compare.

Pros: Size and length
Cons: Gauge too big
The CF reg has always been reliable but my issue is the gauge is huge. If your threading is not aligned with the asa properly and that gauge is sticking from either side it has a tendency to poke into the wrist making for an uncomfortable playing experience. If it could keep the old length but at the same time be streamlined and given a smaller fill valve and gauge and possibly be made to be rebuilt as sometimes mines have leaked it would be perfect.

Cons: Reliability
Crossfire Inc has been in the Paintball scene for a while now. They know customer service. With that said, the regulator has a few problems. The reliability of the reg is not up to par with the rest of the market. When you have companies like Ninja who's reg has proven to be the best on the market, it's hard to sell a reg at same price without the same reliability.

Cons: Bulky and not end user serviceable
The Crossfire regs seem to be hit or miss in their quality. I've seen a lot that new from Crossfire blow the low pressure burst disk the first time they are filled. The reg is not user serviceable so replacing the burst disk and trying it again is about the only option unless you want to send it in to Crossfire.
