Took this thing out to play for the first time on Sunday and was completely amazed at it's performance for 450 bucks...The UL frame feels great for me since I've got smaller hands...the stock UL board has all the modes u'll ever need and is super easy to program...The gun is soo light and has like no kick whatsoever..and it's super quiet....when I first chrono'd it the new hyper3 was shooting +/- 10 but after a case through it it was at +/-3...The stock barrel ain't 1/2 bad either, more accurate than my all american barrell... Proto definitely did good on this marker, got rid of all the crappy plastic pieces and replaced it with metal (finally)...all in all, a terrific gun, you are not gonna get a better shooting gun for the price....heck, you won't get a better shooting gun for less than 1000...this gun would be a pickup you won't regret..

the 2 piece proto barrell is great. very light and accurate. no barrelbreaks after 4 cases.it is almost a dye ultralight barrel minus 3 rows of porting.
feedneck
the stock feedneck isnt to good.its a thumbscrew feedneck. it is one of the upgrades u should get. the feedneck gets stuck to my rotor.
eyes
eyes are fine. no chops at all. only downside is that they are ribbon eyes.
regulator
the hyper 3 reg is great. it is basically the same reg as the dm9s have. the dms just have a grip over it. this is very consistant.
bolt
this bolt is very nice and is extremely soft on paint. its 2 piece and is a pain to lube.
ASA
the on/off asa is great. no leaks.
grips
the sticky grips are ahmazing and feels geat in the hands. wont slip in your hands eve if they r sweaty or if it is raining.
trigger
this ul trigger is used on many of the dms. now i know why. the ul trigger is able to be adjusted from the outside. it is very smooth. but there is a little side to side movement.
board
the stock board comes with 4 different firing modes and they are semi psp millenium and nxl fullauto. theser r honestly all the firing modes u need. it comes tournement ready.it doesnt really skip shots.
frame
this gun comes with the famous 45 ul frame which is also on all the dms. it is the most confortable and most easy to handle. this is absolutely the best frame out there.
conclusion
the pmr 09 is just an overall good marker that shoots ahmazing out of the box. it may need 1 or 2 upgrades but that is it. this is very light and smooth. i feel almost nokick. it is very air efficient.
ILOVE THIS GUN. GO GET THIS FOR 450. IT IS VERY MUCH WORTH THE MONEY!!!!

got this gun for Xmas, at first when I got it wen ever i took the bolt out to clean it and all it always got stuck but now it rarely happens. very accurate, love the way it looks. the only 2 things i don't like is the feedneck, but you can buy a clamping feedneck for $20. and its a bit of a air hog but most fields you go to has all day air so thats really not a problem unless you are playing with some friends in the woods behind someones house. haven't had many breaks either. awesome gun

Board: AMAZING everything you need right out of the box
Reg: great reg after you get it broken in its like +/- 3
Trigger: awesome great point of contact where mine is set very adjustable feels Great!
On Off asa: Great the thing does exactly what its supposed to do.
REVIEW: Ok so i bought this a couple months ago in the claret red color i couldnt be any more satisfiied i absolutly love this gun and wouldnt trrade it for any other gun in its price range. For my setup i have a 2009 pmr (no duhh) a halo v35 ripdrive and a pure energy 70 ci 4500 I love my setup its absolutly great! ok back to the gun when i first got it i was so thrilled with it i couldnt stop fooling with it. to tell you the truth first time i shot it. i thought the velocity was way tooo low it had like NO KICK and it was soooo quiet. I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS GUN i would recomend this gun to the whole world haha LOL it is awesome if you have the money for a new gun and want a tournament ready gun rright out of the box without spending $1000+ Then this is the gun for you

ok i bought the 09 rail airforce1 yesterday and i love it. this gun is amazing and is the best gun for its price range. the stock parts are amazing. like all new dye guns the gun came out of the box ready to play. it was even set at 180-192 which is amazing. this gun has many upgrades form the 08 model and holds the same technology as the dm7. it has a UL frame, hyper3 reg, 14 inch 2 piece barrel, great asa, great eyes, aluminum power buttons, new led lights, and a new feedneck. this gun is very accurate, has no kick, and is very quiet. i like this better than the eteks. i reccomend this gun for anyone. its way better than the 09 slg. if you are looking for a new gun, get this.

I went threw a couple of different guns before i bought this gun. I was about to buy the 09 SLG Ultralight but saw this and for the extra $150 i couldnt say no because it had the better barrel, on/off asa and a better frame.
Right out of the box this thing rips 2 things about the gun i dont like.
1. The feedneck, but for $20 dollars you can get a Dye sleeve with a true clamping feedneck.
2. The bolt is hard coming out and i broke 2 o-rings both times i took it out. Now the o-ring i broke was the very 1st one u see when the bolt slides out and it sicks on the back cap so not having a ring there is ok i havent put one back in and it doesnt leak the guys at the pro shop told me this is comman because the threads are sharp and new and to close to the ring.
Besides that i love this gun and i think this will keep up with any gun out there. PLEASE BUY THIS MARKER!!

OK so i got my pmr about a week ago. One thing i really liked was the package type case it comes in is really well organized, and in it, you get DYE Slick lube, ALL the tools you need, owners manual, and a barrel condom/sock/glove, call it what you want. Also in it, it has the proto 2-piece barrel, which is a very good barrel in my opinion, atleast, it preformed really good. And the gun, this thing is EXTREMELY light, and very comfortable in my hands. Shooting the gun went really well.It shot really smooth and had minimum kick, and itll only get better. Overall, i highly recommend this gun to anyone thats looking for a good quality gun for around $450. This gun is amazingg.

Pro's: First off, this marker is incredible!! The body is all metal, it already has a clamping feedneck, On/off ASA, Hyper 3 reg, and a pretty good 2 piece Proto barrel. It's Performance is everything I could hope for in a paintball marker. It's consistent with +/- 2 on the chrono, The accuracy is GREAT out of the box and IMO this gun is tourny ready out of the box.
Con's: The only downside to this marker is that it is a GAS HOG!!!!
