The new look is just truly amazing. I have no complaints about the style. The lower profile and wide lenses are a huge bonus compared to other masks.
PERFORMANCE
Since I first got this mask in the mail, I've used it every single time I played with my buddies on the field and in the woods. In both situations, this mask proved itself with its lightweight design and versatility.
RELIABILITY
My mask has been through some tough situations from dropping it on a sidewalk to taking direct hits on the mask. Cleanup is a breeze. Literally took me two minutes to clean the entire mask. Pull two tabs on either side and BAM, the lens is out! Simple as that.
VALUE
Although its a little on the expensive side, it's worth every penny. You get what you pay for, and this mask says it all. First of all, it's by Dye, so it's geared for the pros. But nonetheless, its a great mask for anyone who plays or is interested in playing paintball, both field games and scenario.

Proud owner of an i3, I couldn't wait to try the next gen. First off the rapid lens change system is nice, but I have only taken the lens out three times sense owning it. If you want to take the lens out to clean it, it comes in handy (Trying to clean the lower inside lens can be a pain) I cant speak for the HD stock lens, I have never tried it, went with the tented one. As for the look, someone said I look like an "ant."... but im thinking about growing dreads and getting a shoulder mounted paintball cannon with a 3dot sight. We will see what he says then As for it being "too small" I dont exactly have a tiny head so it doesn't cover as much of my forehead as other masks, (and no visor) but its worth a couple forehead welts for a mask that doesn't have to be welded to your face so it doesn't flop around. As for taking balls to the chin (haha) I have read many reviews and a lot of people mention it. If your worried about getting "ball-chind" dont look up while playing paintball... unless your opponents have jet packs Besides, If you play tight, your barrel, hands and right/left ear/eye are all that should be exposed... or you have a chin that makes Bruce Campbell say "Damn you have a big chin!! It says right on the box "Designed with the professional in mind" Dye got rid of all the slack when designing the i4. The protection is where you really need it. It has 290 degrees of vision, ear protection that you can still hear out of, its VERY light weight and your team can still hear you talk. The performance is amazing! If there was a review for PROTECTION: I would still give it 4 stars. This is the best dome sack protector DYE has made yet.

I've been a Dye fan for a long while and have bought quite a bit from them and this is no different. I bought these Goggles in San Diego for Commanders Cup because my grillz were torn and I was hoping Dxs was going to be there so I can show them were they tore and if I could get them replaced. Of course, Dxs only brought their paint. So I bought these and realized how light they were. The first thing some of my teammates and I noticed is how exposed your jaw is. I thought about that, but I rarely get shot there mainly since I play back and also the fact my jawline isn't as big as most. I know there is always a chance of getting hit there, but I liked them and bought them. Plus I own the I3 pro's and I still use them. I've always like Dye's masks even though I own several masks. I used the I4's in San Diego and they worked beautifully. I could see very well throughout the day and even in our night game. Here is my review:
Like all masks, the I4's have a pluthera of features:
i4 Rapid lens change system - I love this inprovement over the I3's because it took forever to change my lenses. Now, this can be done very quickly. All you do is push 2 tabs in and slide them forward to release the hook that holds the lens in.
Wider Vision - The i4 vision is so much better than most lenses. It seems like it was doubled from the I3's. I could see a lot more when I was out on the field. If your a back player, your peripheral vision is greatly increased so you can catch players moving up on you faster.
Low Profile Mask - I love how low-profile this mask is. I makes for a smaller target. It feels like the mask is closer to your face. I also thought that with this mask you would have to yell louder on the field. But, the slots dont give any echoing in the mask. My teammates were able to hear me fine. Even when I was perspiring, the mask does wick away the sweat pretty good. The only thing people see wrong is the fact your jaw isn't protected much. This would be the case if someone bunkers you. I feel that anything can happen even when your well protected.
Soft Ear Protection - It's a lot smaller than on the I3's, but during game play it was hard to hear some of my teammates yell. They do seem to protect all of the ear and temperal lobe areas well.
Renention Strap - The retention strap is pretty cool and easy. Most masks have a clip or some hook you spin something around, but this is one unit. All you have to do is push a tab in and slide it forward. Then the lens just pops off. When it's in the goggle, it's pretty hard to take off. So I know it won't move at all. The strap also acts like a safety point as it holds the clip in place so it won't accidentally slide forward during play.
Extreme Multi-Directional Venting - The venting is similar in the way it was on the I3's. The I3's have great venting and carry your voice very well. I thought this was going to be a problem with the I4's but my voice carried very well. But with this newer design your voice is supposed to be carried even farther. I'll see if this is true when we practice this weekend. I couldn't really tell in SD because I wasn't paying attention. I was into the games.
Weight- These goggles are about 1/4 lighter than the I3's. They also feel lighter that Events and Grills. I don't have JT's so I can see if they are lighter than those. I've heard they weigh the same and also that the I4's are lighter.
High Definition Thermal Lens - This is probably my favorite lens of all time because it works so well in all light. I have these on my I3's and only use these. The clarity is top notch and with the added peripheral vision, it just makes this mask that much better.
This is an excellent mask and other then the jawline and hearing problems, I would definitely recommend this mask to anyone. Now people with big jaws might not find this a great mask to play with. I also heard a rumor that Dye is planning to release another I4, maybe I4 Pro, with a longer lower section to protect the jawline better. But who knows. Like I say in almost all of my posts that paintball gear is all personal preference. I love these goggles and Dye has never dissappointed me with their products I have purchased. Good Job Dye!

I've been wearing these for some time and I can't find much to complain about. It offers great vision, it's breathable, and they look good. It conforms to your face pretty well, but may feel unnatural to some people. Some complain that it is too small, and doesn't offer full coverage of the face. I have no problem with these, and will continue to use the i4 as my mask of choice.

Pros: The Dye I4 is one of the more refined masks I have owned.
-The construction of the mask is top notch, and the field of view is good. -Your peripheral vision is not obstructed by the edges of the lens, granting you a very wide view of the field.
-The profile of the mask is very small, considerably smaller than the Flex or most other masks.
-Breathing and communication are both good.
-The lens are excellent quality, both HD factory amber lens, and the Dyetanium lens I purchased. Lens changing is pretty easy, although once in a while I have issues unlocking one side from the frame.
-The soft ears are awesome, and seem to be very high quality
Cons:
-The mask is obviously fitted for smaller faces. However, this makes sense with of the player base being younger people. The mask is not uncomfortable, but fits very snug on the face.
-The materials used to make the mask are also a little more rigid than I prefer, coming from a long history of Flexes, I like a bouncy mask.
-Also, with the small size of the mask comes more vulnerable spots. The chin of a normal sized adult is pretty exposed, especially when shouting. The ears seem fairly well covered, however.
-And while laterally the view is amazing, the wide nose of this mask leaves for a large blind spot center and low. I have not found this to be a problem in lay, but it is a noticeable area of blur. This may be an issue on wooded/ uneven fields.
-The styling on these masks won't appeal to everyone, I think they look pretty avian, other people say bug like. All personal preference.
Overall, I am pretty impressed with the mask. As a product, I do not regret buying it, and would buy again. The fit is a little too tight for me, but it's means to an end. Really, though that is my only issue with the I4. It will be a top choice for me now.

Dye Precision I4 Thermal Paintball GogglesAmazing vision and easy to put on. Extremly light weight mask. Only con that i could find was that if you have big cheeks your lower cheek bone is exposed really easy.

i played with my i4's today and and first i felt a little bit nervous (i'm a big guy so i felt like i would get hit in the face lol) i actually took two shots to the googles today and it felt normal though!
Style:
The dye i4 goggles are a completely new design from the i3 pros (i own both) These goggles are very sleek and have a "swept back" feel to them. They look very aggressive. style=A+
Lenses:
The stock HD lenses are awesome! However the retention system for holding in the lenses may confuse some people (me) and cause the lenses to not stay in! The system is not as great as the vforce goggles in my opinion but definitely a step up from cutting your fingers open to do the lense change on i3 pros! lenses= A EDIT: reading this back i just want to change this because i just realized i can take out and change the lense in 23.27 seconds its actually the greatest lense retention system i've ever dealt with screw the vforce one
Comfort:
these goggles are little and in some positions they feel weird. the goggles are overall pretty comfortable but that is depending on the persons head. comfort= ?
Size:
going from the i3 pros to the i4s is like changing from basketball shorts to skinny jeans. it kind of feels weird! When i got these goggles i couldnt believe hoe little they were! the i3 pros are roomier and aren't pushing against anything. These are little little tiny little goggles! no other way to put it. Dye did a great job (for the majority of people) to not sacrifice functionality to profile. Size= A+++ to some and F to some

my only gripe is 1. its expensive for a mask. I got a deal on mine and its the only reason I'd buy one, I dont think they are so much better than the competitors out there that I'd drop 3 figures on it. and 2. the ears started fraying a bit.

Dye Precision I4 Thermal Paintball GogglesDye came out with a great mask called the I4. the mask has big lens so you have more of a view. It could be a little bigger around the chin area to cover it but other then that great mask!

Fantastic mask. I've had a liquid gray for a few months now and i love it. Never fogs, keeps me cool (even running around like a nut on the speedball course) and its stays in place better than any other mask i've ever used.
For people with a longer face, it may not cover the bottom of the jawline very well because of it's shape, but the huge wide lens it great... not to mention how easy it is to change.
The only downfall is the price... but as long as you're going to be taking good care of your equipment i would say it is definitely worth it.
