However, twice I had a piece of my shell break near the feedneck. This area is prone to breaks and I am not the only one who has experienced this.
I can't exactly recommend the 1st gen proph because of this issue however, customer service replaced the feedneck promptly.

"For the record I am not a Halo fan" The new Prophecy gives you quick access to change batteries and clean out the inside of the hopper which is nice. The primary feed sits directly on the board so if you do happen to break a ball inside you run the risk of paint getting on your board. The outer shell is extremely thin and if you are a winter player you run the risk of taking a shot in the hopper and having the hopper break. The aluminum feedneck is all hype because if the outter shell is broken the feedneck will remain in your gun and the hopper will simply fall off. I like the idea of durable plastics like the rotor plastic and "hey the original Halo plastic shell." The prophecy is an over engineered hopper. When I consider a hopper, weight is the last concern on my list reliability and durability are number one. I have been told by many players that the prophecy is a great hopper but I don't see it personally this hopper is all hype.

Empire ProphecyI got this gun hoping to be a cheaper route than the rotor. well i've had it for about a year and i can't ever get the dang thing to work quite right, so i got a rotor and it fixed all of my problems.

We've completely ditched these hoppers because they were terribly designed. Simon had videos of him standing on them and not breaking, but we've broken these feednecks over and over again and Paintball Solution gave me a terrible time trying to replace the shells because of their weak design. One person I emailed, who finally emailed me back two weeks later said I could get a free shell replacement, and the person I called told me I had to pay for one.
Terrible customer service. Will not use these hoppers again.

Empire ProphecyBought this for my DP, and it works just great, cant think of anything neg about it.
this is a very light loader, but the v1 shells can sometimes break around the feedneck.

Only thing is if you were to actually run the hopper dry on balls, a few get stuck towards the front of the nose cone, but that's a rare occasion during actual play.

i sits low and further back which is awesome but can be a pain to take apart.
id still rather have it over the rotor because i think the rotor is ugly and WAY overpriced.
had to sell it but if i ever play anything other than pump again, ill be picking one up.
