Price, Sometimes jams, and had one break in hopper
Overall Love the Rotor, has only failed me once. I love the looks, sleek and has a great elegant appearance to it. The only issues is the price Dye expects people to pay and sometimes jam that occur. Doesn't happen very often, but it can be irritating, shark fin or not. Sometimes the shark fin doesn't help.
But overall i love the hopper.

Dye Precision RotorI have had this hopper for a long time, I have started with the v1 rotor. Then worked my way up to the v3. I have never had a problem with it at all. A must buy for paintball

Dye Precision RotorThis is a great loader and performs really well. Only complaint is how much it cost and it jammed on me and the anti-jam wouldnt work. Other than that it is a pretty good loader.

I have the v3 Dye Rotor.
This is a great hopper bought it off of Nation for $115 shipped. This hopper has a great sturdy neck (although it doesnt fit on many other markers because it is thicker than most). Loads very fast and hasn't jammed on me at all.
I used it on my Spyder TL (since my PMR isn't up and runnin' yet), it didnt have a single glitch! The weight of the hopper is made up by the performance of it.
Appearance: 5 stars. This hopper looks cool with a low sleek profile and looks good with both the lid and speed feeds. I have the blue one, and although I wish it was a bit lighter color, it works for both speed and woodsball.
Performance: Do I have to explain? Ok, of course it's a 5 star. This is the fastest and most consistant hopper I've ever seen. The v1 and v2's I have heard have jammed and other not so cool stuff. It has the shark tail to unjam or just to load and put tention on the ball stack while the hopper is off. It is EASY to take apart. Everything come out form inside including the gear box. I have an Empire Halo B which was to my surprise was lighter than the Rotor. The gear/battery box is the heaviest part of the hopper. But how Dye countered it was the low profile but is back heavy, this back heaviness makes the front of your marker lighter and easier to move around. The Empire B was lighter and more balanced with the battery box in the front and the gear box in the back, but it has a larger profile and sits higher up on the marker. The v3's are amazing! The technology still is just so high tech. It's fun just watching how it works. Good Job Dye Enginers!
Reliablility: This is a 5 star also. Watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdqKg0PIXfY This explains it all, I watched this before I bought it and I'm like "yup this hopper will do." Living in Washington, well it rains a lot and it's nice to know that the rain won't ruin my hopper. Even though I may accidently drop it in a puddle just need to let it dry out and it would be ready to go.
Value: Yeah ok, it is pretty spendy but you won't need another hopper after you get this (unless you have several markers that you let others use). I have this and an Empire Halo B. I got the Halo for $30 at a pawn shop and justified getting the rotor. This is worth at least $120 although if you can get one for cheaper go for it.
This hopper is overall GREAT!!! I would advise people to get it. It is heavier than a halo but has a lower profile and feeds faster
The speed feeds are great, they are kinda a pain to put in but with a little practice it gets easier.
I love this hopper! this is the best hopper out their for it's performance and weight!

Dye Precision RotorPros:
1) Feeds balls consistantly
2) Easy to disassemble and clean. NO TOOLS to break down!! I'll never have to break apart another halo to properly clean everything.
3) low profile

Pros:
1) Feeds balls consistantly
2) Easy to disassemble and clean. NO TOOLS to break down!! I'll never have to break apart another halo to properly clean everything.
3) low profile
4) practically indestructable. Haven't had to replace shells like I have for my halos
5) did I mention how easy it was to clean? this is worth another mention
Cons:
1) Only had it jam twice. Once when I let it bake in the sun when it was 102 out. My fault, should have set it in the shade. The other time it jammed I was able to clear it out with the shark fin.
2) Expensive if buying new
