Pros: FAST! DURABLE!
Cons: hard to see paint
Used this loader on my Aim Swift cocker (mech) and the loader NEVER skipped a beat. Swapped it onto my new Etek2 and the loader keeps up no problem. Cleaning is a SNAP. Literally. No screws to take off. Batteries are inside loader so you need to have it empty to access batteries, but still. VERY DURABLE. Taken nose shots and the loader isn't phased at all, versus going through multiple bodies on Halos and such. Only complaint is the windows that came stock are smoked out and it's kinda hard to see paint unless you have high contrast balls. Heard DYE is making replacement windows and such, and a speed collar is available now too. HIGHLY recommend this loader. No eyes or electronics or programming to worry about. Simple, easy to clean/disassemble. Let's put it this way...first outing with the loader I hastily put it back together (my own personal stupidity). Didn't seat the rotor correctly, and it started to chatter 60 seconds into a 20 on 20 rec ball game, I emptied out the paint, field stripped it, put it back together in under 30 seconds and was rockin out again in no time. I love it.

Update 2/20/2009...been running this on my Etek2, still haven't chopped, doesn't miss, very consistent. I'd be hard pressed to go to anything else, especially after seeing a Halo get blown apart from a nose hit. Cracked, battery door dropped out, wasn't pretty. Definitely happy with speed and durability of the Rotor.

Pros: Feeds well, few jams, sleek
Cons: A little heavier than others
I've had a rotor for well over 2 years now and they have never failed me. The things are extremely easy to maintain due to their quick dis-assembly and re-assembly. The hopper has an extremely nice and modern look to it just adding to the beauty of of (something Dye seems to do well).

I have had Jams but not many compared to other loaders that I have owned like Halos and sometimes prophecys. The fin on the rotor also makes it an extremely easy fix when you do get a jam.

The hopper IS heavier than others but not really noticeable when playing. The high-capacity shell allows you to carry more paintballs with not much of a hard switch: just pop the top and go.

Dye Precision Rotor Not a bad hopper at all. Incredibly durable and decently reliable. Just hates cheaper paint.

Dye Precision Rotor After having used both the Z2 and Rotor I would have to say that they are nearly equivalent in all respects aside from price.

If you were able to get the rotor before the huge price jump you were lucky, they are currently overpriced but if you can pic one up used its a good value. The loader is built like a tank and is extremely easy to clean/fix if something goes wrong.

Cons- the hopper is fast free-falling, but if your playing a game it might stop on you, jams ALOT, the unjam trigger- works but not allways reliable in game, expensive

Pros- the hopper looks great, and its easy to clean and maintain, if you break balls in your hopper its fast and easy to clean while waiting for next game.

My opinion- i own a 06 nexus ego, it might just be they dont work well together, because of all the other reviews but - i dont recommend this hopper for anyone. i sujust if your chossing your better with an empire hopper (dye should not make hopppers!!!!!!!

Pros: Feed Rate, Easy Disasembly, Low Profile
Cons: Price, Looks, capacity
Alright so I just got my rotor from Action Village a few weeks ago. I have a Virtue Board on my gun so I needed a hopper to keep up with it. So far I have not chopped one ball, even on full auto or auto response. The feed rate is awesome, and i love the no tool dissasembly. The hopper has worked great I am still on the same 3 batteries and have not yet been shot in the hopper because of the low profile.

PROS:
1. Dissasembly- the rotor is east to take apart making for much easier cleaning.
2. Low Profile- the low profile has prevented me from being shot in the hopper so far.
3. Feed Rate- how can you beat 50+ balls a second

CONS:
1. Price- 150 is a little much but worth it for the price.
2. I bought the blue rotor and it looks purple but once again no biggie.
3. Capacity is a little low I counted at roughly 190 paintballs tops, which is decent for how small it is but could be improved on.
